Large Size Gold Certificates

The Large Size 50 dollars United States Notes was first issued as series of 1882 last as series of 1922. There has been a number of issues but only two major designs: Series 1882, featuring Silas Wright 1795-1847, US Senator and governor of New York; and Series 1913 and 1922 featuring Ulysses S. Grant who is also today found on the 50 dollar notes.
