Buying foreign coins

I am interested in buying foreign circulation coins and banknotes from some European countries, in order to use them on my travels.

When you are travelling you often amass a number of coins, these remain lying around because banks won't exchange them. Smaller banknotes are also often kept, as the banks charged too much for exchanging them to make it worth your while.

I buy the following currencies:

• SEK Swedish kroner
• DKK Danish kroner
• EUR Euro
• GBP British pounds
• CHF Swiss francs
• NOK Norwegian kroner

For banknotes and high denomination coins I pay a bit less than the ordinary exchange rate, for minor coins somewhat less. I only pay for coins and banknotes that are current, not for coins that have to be exchanged at the National bank or no longer can be exchanged for current coinage.

I pay face value for current Norwegian coins.

I pay through PayPal, the correct amount less PayPal charges.
